Trusted Listener-Experienced Resource

Over the course of my career, I’ve established long-lasting relationships both personally and professionally from the Western Suburbs into Northwest Indiana.  I’m passionate about building relationships. 

In my personal life, I experienced the emotions of seeing my mom through breast cancer, navigating the best care for her, working with hospice and grieving her loss.  My dad’s dementia and failing health gave me another experience I wasn’t ready for; choosing rehab, senior living, hospital care and doctors, and well-being care.  I understand how difficult the process can be for a loved one.

In my professional career in Home Care, I met with Social Workers, Care Managers, Hospital Liasons,  Community Executive Directors and many more.  I’ve served on various nonprofit boards, and service organizations dedicated to serving the Senior Community such as C.A.R.S., Downers Grove Township-Senior Advisory Committee and Aging Care Connections CRN.  Through these and many others I’ve established a network that I can reach into to locate customized support for the senior and their family. 

I grew up in the South Side, Oak Lawn area and lived in the Western Suburbs for many years.  I’m currently living in Michigan City, Indiana, two doors from 3 of my 7 grandchildren.  I do have a pet…don’t laugh… a Guinea Pig called Bluey, named by my 4-year-old granddaughter.
