For as long as she can remember, Rebecca and her father used take the church van to bring seniors in her community to various events around town.  Rebecca’s grandfather also battled with Alzheimer’s disease for 12 years.  Her personal interest in the disease and seniors led her to earn a degree in health management in nursing home administration from Shawnee State University.

For the past 10 years Rebecca held various positions in skilled nursing buildings, Continuing Care and Retirement Communities and assisted living buildings in the area.  She also worked in Kentucky on the Eden Alternative project, an innovative program involving intergenerational housing and involving pets in senior care.

Highlights of her career include helping families understand dementia or any other disease the loved one may be experiencing and providing them with additional resources.

Rebecca is a member of the local chapter (McHenry/Lake/NW Metro) Illinois Continuity of Care.
